Description
Hatti Butti brings you our Khillari Desi Cow Ghee, a traditional Bilona Ghee made from milk sourced from the indigenous Khillari breed of Maharashtra.
Known for its rich aroma and naturally daanedaar texture, this Khillari Cow Ghee brings the traditional character of a native Indian cow breed to everyday Indian cooking.
Our Bilona Cow Ghee is prepared through a traditional process in which milk is first converted into curd and then churned using a wooden churner to separate the butter. The butter is subsequently slowly clarified to produce rich, aromatic ghee.
The traditional preparation gives Khillari Ghee its characteristic flavour and naturally grainy texture, making it suitable for dal, rice, khichdi, roti, tadka, traditional cooking and festive recipes.

FAQ's
Q1: What makes Khillari Bilona Ghee different from regular ghee?

Q3: Is Khillari Cow Ghee made from cow milk?
Ans: Yes, this product is made from milk sourced from Khillari cows and traditionally prepared through curd fermentation, wooden churning and slow clarification.
Q4: Why can the colour, aroma and texture vary between batches?
Ans: Natural differences in milk, season, cattle feed and preparation can influence the colour, aroma and texture of traditionally prepared ghee.
Q5: Can people with dairy or lactose sensitivity consume ghee?
